Write a 1-2 page reflection answering the following questions about the occupations you selected:
What is the percentage of females and males in those occupations?
Is there a gender wag gap within the occupations you selected? If so, what is the gender wage gap? In other words, what is the average difference between a man’s and a woman’s total wages or salaries in those occupations?
What do you think about the information you found? What is surprising (or not) about this information?
What do you think are two major explanations for the continuing gender wage gap in the paid labor force?
