I’m stuck on a Philosophy question and need an explanation.

For this paper, you are allowed to select any ONE film from the first five lectures…

5. Free Will, Determinism, and Moral Responsibility – MINORITY REPORT

For this assignment, you will be writing a 5-6-page paper on any ONE film discussed in the first five weeks of class. Afterwards, you will select TWO philosophical ideas mentioned in the lecture your film is from. More specifically, I would like you to write your paper based on the following list of guidelines (in a series of steps). For each step, I have also included a page length specific to that step. Based on these specific guidelines, the finished paper should end up being about 5-6 pages.

STEP 1: 1 Page

Introduce/explain what you will be writing about for your paper. Afterwards, summarize your film’s synopsis. What happens in it? Who are the main characters?

Discuss a philosophical idea relating to the lecture through which we discussed the film. Explain the philosophical idea in your own words.
