Employees Do Not Set up Health Savings Accounts Discussion Question Thank you for your discussion. The other day I heard something on the radio that I had to look up when I arrived home. A recent study showed that high deductible health plans led to delays for breast cancer treatment (Wharam et al., 2019). This has me worried because there are many policies that cover catastrophic care but also have high deductibles. If employees do not set up health savings accounts (HSAs), and even if there are HSA funds some people do not want to spend the money. What are your thoughts on this? –
