The furniture industry has been in existence for many years. It is among the first industries to be established. However, its global focus has not been established. This can be linked to the fact that in many countries, there are local industries that produce furniture. However, a large market still exists because the quality of furniture produced by the local industries is low. With high quality, the market would shift from locally made to the imported ones. Among the furniture, the best product to export is the seats. This is so because they at first have a higher profit. This would raise the profits of the companies in this industry (FitzGerald & Arnott, 2000). The country to export the seats is in Africa. This is so because in Africa, getting the raw materials becomes easy and hence reduces the cost of input.
