UR UMUC Health Fitness Center operates in an industry where competition continues to grow every day. Being a firm that seeks to grow and increase its customer base, it was suggested that it embraces IT in its process so as to enhance efficiency and cut down on operation costs. Billing and new members registration was identified as requiring technology solution to boost efficiency in the light of increasing competition. It was therefore decided that EZFacility software be brought into play to increase efficiency. The facility is designed to be used in Gym and club management. Some of the hardware used by this software includes computers, scanners, readers, LAN cables, and wireless router among other things. The software includes point of sale, antispyware/antivirus, firewall, business/office, server, operating system, and credit card. This software facilitates online registration and billing.
