Read the play 12 Angry Men by Reginald Rose

• Identify examples of reasoning fallacies demonstrated in the arguments made by the characters in the play.
  • Name the fallacy and explain why it is a fallacy and how it is being used as a fallacy
• Then identify several examples of good reasoning in the play—reasoning that is not fallacious.
  • This helps sensitize us to good arguments as well as bad arguments.

This will be written in paragraph format and put effort into this assignment.

• Identify any fallacies and examples of good reasoning you saw in the film versus reading the script.
• Which did you like better and why?
• Was it easier to notice good and bad reasoning in the film or text? Etc.
