In your own words, write about the following:
Article 3 CONTRACTOR in the AIA A201 – Contract General Conditions AIA A201 article (Click on link) review article 3 Contractor. The purpose of this assignment is to expose you to the document commonly used that outlines the roles and responsibilities of all parties. This is an open essay question. In this assignment, you are to focus on the Contractor pointing out in your own words the intent of this article, anything of particular importance you notice, anything that you were not aware of? In other words, what are important points being made. You might discuss things such as purpose of the article, effect, key responsibilities, any article you deem irrelevant or vague. You are reviewing and critiquing the article for its presence in the A201 document. Keep your review to no more than one page single space. Again, this is an open essay question.
If you are a general contractor practicing in the State of Florida, would you choose to be a Union Shop Contractor or an Open Shop Contractor? Explain why, include at least two pros and and one cons of each open shop vs Union membership. Take no more than a half a page for your answer.
