For this part you need to identify key legal and ethical issues in the management of the disease you are discussing. If you cannot find anything specific to that disease/condition you can relate the issue back to the chosen topic. To start with- outline legal issues and ethical issues- you would have done some work on what these key principles. As an example- if you were discussing dementia the legal issue of consent is an important consideration- how can a person with advanced dementia consent to care/treatment- this will highlight the importance of things such as ACP for instance. Ethical issues in relation to this might surround for instance artifical fluid and nutrition. These are just a quick couple of examples of some issues you may come across.
