This week we discuss scripts and their importance in the cognitive development of children during early childhood.

• After reading pp. 187-192 in your text, reflect on your own childhood and consider some of the scripts that you learned during this time.
• Share one of these scripts with us. What impact did this script have on you? Did it change over time or remain consistent?
